99 2.0 Central locking problems - Whacko
Good afternoon everyone. The central locking has evolved a mind of it's own and although the driver's door lock has been renewed the other three are quite unpredictable. Grand children are carried and advice is eagerly sought.

Further to my earlier post, is the problem likely to be with the central control unit or the wiring or the individual door locks ? The first post resulted in a loud silence, has a secret protocol been breached in any way ? If so my sincere apologies but some guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Elekie thanks for your reply. In answer to your three questions:-

1 Yes it has remote locking

2 The replacement part was said to have cost £38

3 When key is used to lock passenger door that door locks, the other three do not
and the alarm is not set ie the lights do not flash.
