Emissions & Steering - Crombster
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this. The car failed its MOT today due to two points, emissions & the steering wheel idler.

At idle speed the car is over-fuelling by a vast amount, yet on part and full throttle the car is running lean by an equally vast amount. The 2.5V6 has been Superchipped and has 3.0 hi lift cams fitted but mechanically nothing else has been changed. The car has previously passed with the superchip but has never been tested with the cams. What could cause this to happen?

The other item was the steering idler on the near side. How big a job is this to replace on the Omega?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers
