05 1.9 Trip Computer Readings - Mycar
Is it possible to change the Trip Computer Reading from eg Miles per gallon to ltr/100Km or Km/Ltr. Presumably the LHD models in Europe are metric so is it a function within the computer perhaps only selectable by the manufacturer or is it possible for it to be retrospectively converted by a dealer or experienced engineer with the right kit?

You would need to recode the instrument cluster using Vag-com software and change the third digit to "3". Easy to do if you can fine someone with the software, or you can get Chinese clones of an old version off ebay which may suffice.
