Ford Focus II (2004 - 2007) - 05 1.6 TDCI - Gear Clunk

05 1.6 TDCI - Gear Clunk - Davegilmore
I'm not sure what I've done! Yesterday I changed the reverse light switch on my Focus, everything seemed to go well, and now the reverse light works.

This morning I drove it and it has develeoped the following problem:
When I engage 1st gear, it pulls away fine untill I lift my foot completely off the clutch, at which point there's an extremely load clunk. After the clunk, the car drives perfectly, and changes through the other gears fine.

When I then stop, and engage reverese, there's again a loud clunk when I lift my foot off the clutch.

This only happens with reverse ad 1st gear.

I am sure I put everything back where I found it!

Does anyone have any ideas?

Dual Mass Flywheel springs to mind. They do break up. But its just a guess.
