Subaru Legacy and Outback Petrol (2004 - 2009) - Door mirror/indication unit

Door mirror/indication unit - warren321
I had a small accident with a tree falling on my car and subsequently have a broken lens cover on the n/s door mirror indication unit. Will I have to replace the whole unit or can the window/lens be replaced. If replacing the whole door mirror is this a straightforward job?

Phone a scooby dealer parts department & ask if it is a unit or a few parts.

Ah, but I'm not sure I trust the dealer to give me a straight or at least the cheapest answer!

Where/How the repair is undertaken is often driven by the age of the vehicle .

Find a local breakers yard with a Subaru - difficult not impossible

you can search for model year - then go to body section then etc etc
