Pressure in N/S/R tyre has been going down 3-4lbs per week.
Independent tyre depot identified poor seating of tyre on rim as the cause and offered to clean the rim, re-fit and re-balance.
I had to stop one mile from depot and to my surprise noticed that there was no 'balance weight' on the rim.
Is it possible that the balance was so good that no weight was necessary or that it fell off in one mile (!) or have I been cheated?

Balance weight could be on inside of rim. Take the car up to the maximum speed you normally drive at. If there's no vibration, there's no problem.

Could just be the valve - dirt on the seat or needing a tighten or repacement of the inner. Worth checking
