Speed humps as punishment? - loonykev
Has anyone else on here driven over the new speed humps in Park Road, Teddington, near the Bushy Park gate? They seem to have been designed to damage cars. Is there any way of mounting a campaign to get these removed?

If it was my street, i would leaflet drop or knock ever door , get their opinion on the matter . Ignore those in favour , and write a letter out for for the others to sign and post in protest demanding their removal.

this is what the council respond to

Also check their size - if they really damage cars they are probably illegal- - there are threads on here with links to the size and shape they are supposed to be if you do a search.

"Ignore those in favour" says slowdown avenue.

We need speed humps to slow down those drivers who basicaly don't give a toss about others.

Thus the rest of us who drive sensibly are punished alongside those who won't

Do not spend any money in any area which has lots of humps, congestion charges or other anti motoring characteristics.
