Deauville motorbike. 03 - Brown dirty coolant - Gregory II
I have a deauville motorcycle 650cc. When I changed the coolant it came out as dirty: it was brown in colour. Is this something to worry about or not?

It has covered 24000 miles, and it is an ex transport police bike. I am not too sure about its history as it came with no service history.

Please advise.
Thanks
Gregory

From experience on cars, if someone mixes pink coolant with the older blue/green it goes a dirty brown quite quickly and they are not supposed to be mixed. Most modern (2002+) coolant is pink/red and low silicate with a longer service life and can be used as a new fill. Give it a flush and get new coolant from a Honda dealer.
