I have a ford focus 1999 and the key fob is playing up.
When i press the key all doors open apart from the passenger door and i have to unlock it manually when i enter the car. When locking the car by the button the passenger door refuses to lock thus the other door locks bouncing back open. To lock the car i have to press the interior passenger lock in and then press the button on the key to deadlock all doors.
If i use the key in the drivers door to lock the car the same thing happens, the passenger door refuses to lock, and the doors bounce back to open however if i lock the door by using the key in the passenger door all doors lock and it also opens all doors when unlocking.
I cant seem to hear any noise coming froom the passenger door either, can anyone help.

The most likely problem is a fault with the door locking/latch unit.I have just replaced one with the same fault.Part costs around £70.hth
