Hi there everyone I have a problem!

Does anyone know the colour coding for the audio on a Transit X reg 2001?

Whoever had the van before me has trimmed and messwed with the wires

I don't know the colour coding for your transit but you can use a little trick and multimeter to find out what each wire does. Locate wire doubles for example green/white + green/black -, purple/white + purple/black -, now connect both wires to the + and - on a 9v battery (rectangle shaped battery) you should hear a crackle which will tell you if the wiring is for F/L, F/R, RR, RL speaker and go through all four sets. 12V Positive is usually red but you can verify by using a multimeter to check for voltage. Ignition is usually yellow or orange, again you can check this by turning the ignition on and off with the multimeter connected. Illumination orange or yellow, Remote wire is normally blue. Ground will be the black or brown wire. Any other wires should now be alot easier to figure out with the use of the radio diagram if available.
