2001 1.8 TDDI Throttle positioning sensor - eggandchips
After a diagonistic test it sounds like my tps has faulted.My car keeps losing acceleration and the glow plug heater light flashes but the car still ticks over;when re-started it's fine till the next time.Any ideas where I can get one of these and is it easy to fit? Thankyou for reading.

Hasn't actually got a TPS as such; these have an accelerator pedal position sensor.

What codes were stored and what's been tried so far?

Sorry,I don't know what codes were stored,but they said it was more than likely that.I'm on a tight budget and wondered if they are easy enough to fit and buy as I don't want to fork out £60 odd + vat for another diagnotic test.(i got first one free done by a friend).I'd rather have a go myself anas this seems quite common on this model.
