01 2.2 SRI - Cam chain - amarins
Hello, I'm about to buy a non runner Vectra SRI 150 2001. The owner says it stoped working 6 weeks ago, while running. Has been sitting there since than.
In the car's descripition hi says "Think some of the teeth on the cam chain have gone, although believe the chain is still intact". I may be going over there to check the car, I would like some hints in what to look for in a try to diagnose the real problem and a ideia on how much would that cost to be fixed. Thank you all

notorious for cam chains stretching/breaking expect valve damage and a lot of money unless its a steal then walk away
