400m from a public footpath! - thats almost half a kilometre! and from the look of the 'photo there seems to be quite a good hedge=screen, the "nosey blighters" must have made thier eyes sore by using binoculars!- I hope he buys a bloomin-big boat from the proceeds, and stores it on the same land, that should give the "bounders" something to moan about.

Not anymore! just about anybody with the "right" bit of paper can breach your walls nowadays, bet knights of olde wished they had had such a powerfull weapon! it would have saved months waiting around a besieged castle!
If he had claimed he was trying to set up a museum of east German transportation, he would probably recieved "Lottery funding" to help, and it would have been transformed from eye-sore to heritage site. Then the "locals" would have been proud of it! - Bah! do-gooders!
