I intend replacing both front and rear pads this weekend. Is there anything I should look for and are any special tools required? Also do the caliper pistons turn or just push back?
Help appreciated.

Front push back ,rear wind back.
The wind back tool is much easier but you can do it without and a little struggling.
Good idea to open the bleed nipple when piston going back to expell any moisture & crud from behind the piston and not to flip the master seals.

As well as clamping the flexible rubber pipe.
