2006 2.4 D4D - Tickover on cold starting - fastdiesel
I have a T180 Tourer (2.2 D4D) 18 months old and 35K on the clock. Until recently a cold start resulted in fast tickover until warmed up. Last couple of weeks, cold starting has led to either immediate stalling of the engine or engine hunting (speeding up then falling back close to stalling several times) Only prevention is a bit of throttle as the engine kicks into life, which I guess isn't a good for it. Any clues?

{Obviously you think that the 3 separate requests asking for the year and engine details to be included in the subject header don't apply to you!}

Is the motor not still under warranty?

I'd have though the toyo dealer would soon have this sorted.
