The electric mirror on the driver`s side has stopped tilting up or down, although the motor is still making the normal noise. It is moving from side to side with no probs. I had a Cavalier, where the glass became detached from the motor and needed a good push to re-attach it. Could it be the same kind of problem?

ummmmmm.... Find out by giving it a good push perhaps ??

Done that! Problem is, when does a good push becom a cracked mirror? Defnitely seems like it is just a case of the glass having come away, but are there any tips to get it back, without breaking it? >> >>
