Can anyone please help?
Power completely diminishes under very hard acceleration accompanied by black smoke and lack of power in any gear, release throttle and power seems to resume. More prominent if you pull out in front of a 38 tonner, black smoke then appears like you have turned the engine off.
Are there any known turbo pipe problems collapsing under acceleration?
Please help, as situation desperate. Thank you.

Have you checked the EGR valve? or the possibility of a leakage in the induction system.
