2001/X 2.2 Petrol Vectra - 64adrian
About a week ago the car started judder when idling, then on start up it sounded like a deisel, it's since got worse, the car has a FVSH 61k miles, and I have just been told it needs and new timing chain and injectors £1100 from a Vauxhall Dealer. Any other ideas?

Afraid common problem, vauxhall were doing a concession on 2.2 chains at one time! worth asking. They did do a recall. My pal had his replaced FOC at 46000 miles & 5 years old!

Thanks - I'll see if the garage is willing to look into doing it a bit cheaper, or FOC as it was a known problem.
