A4 groaning bushes

A4 groaning bushes - stokie
Can anyone recommend a spray product for lubricating or quitening suspension bushes?

My 1996 A4 (202k miles) 'clonks' at the back, especially first thing in the morning. Sounds a bit like a spring related noise, but thought I'd start the debugging by spraying the bushes with lube. Any thoughts?

Silicon lubricant should be OK as it's not oil based(?)

I brush on once-bled brake fluid for this purpose, though I suppose it could be sprayed through a bathroom cleanser type dispenser.
