Can anybody help me with this?
My MK4 Golf seems to have a problem in that it cuts out when first driving or when changing down gears (this especially happens when changing to 2nd). I noticed that the rev counter will move very quickly and the head lights will dim while this happens. I spoken to some friends who think it maybe transmission problem. This is quite worringly as the car has cut out a few times in traffic.
Any advice appreciated.
