rover 620 sdi (1994), no throttle - track
I have a rover 620 sdi, 1994 model (2.0TD).
Anyway for some reason my throttle no longer responds. Im guessing these are drive by wire as I cant see the usual signs for cable anywhere and I suspect something is just unplugged. I have just fixed a small derv leak on the pump (the top cover wasnt sealing so Ive resealed it) and also I removed the stop solenoid and checked that for signs of leaking but it was all fine. I have noticed a small white cylinder just hanging around the pump area, the cyclinder contains 1 female spade term, inal and has a red wire running to it, also its quite clean in comparison to everything else in that area. Is thgis the throttle control? I cant find anything to plug it into.
Any help greatly appreciated.

PS, I have primed the system and it does start (reluctantly though were it used to start straight off without glow plugs)
