Polo cambelt question

Polo cambelt question - TimOrridge
Hi,

Just this minute looking at a polo 1.0L on ebay for my sister, 95 N reg. 150 quid seems to good to be true. mileage 79K

Ive just asked the seller about the cambelt if it had been done or if it was due.

He replied back that it had been checked and it was fine

Does that sound OK, just want second opinion. I mean cars 12 years old and i would have it to have been change at least once

Is the any other questions you could advise me to ask, the auction end is on Sunday

budget for a new cambelt..no one can look at a belt and say if its got a long life left on it

theyre not expensive to do if you're a diy 'er
