Honda Accord-Digital Clock - michael tobin
Is it possible to get at the bulb for the clock, without dismantling sections of the centre console? Grateful for any advice.

There was a thread about this on UK Autotalk recently. The advice from one who had done many bulb replacements was to carefully prise out the top of the centre console and so access the screws which hold the clock in place. Then you must persuade the clock out of the gap to replace the bulb. Another method was indeed to remove the centre console along with the glovebox and heater controls. They were in fact discussing the Rover 600, but I believe the Accord is very similar.Good luck if you are doing this yourself, it doesn't sound too easy!

Yep, Rover 600 clock bulbs are something we try to shy away from.

The power window switchpack has to come out and they are murder tight in the console.

Allow an hour for a decent technician to do the job!
