I need to get the window winder handle off a 1999 Micra 1.0 (driver side on a 3 door model) so that it can be re-positioned, but I cannot see how to do this. Can any kind soul let me know how to get it off without breaking it.
I often seem to find that plastic trim items on cars are held on by 'secret' catches and clips, which makes their removal difficult / impossible without breaking the things, unless one knows said 'secret'.
use a thin screwdriver to depress the end of the spring clip(underneath handle) retaining the handle.
Insert the screwdriver along the length of the handle and keep the clip depressed while pulling the handle off the splines.
