Hello,
We'd like to go back down to one car from two again and chop them both in for a Picasso. Was just wondering if dealers ever take two cars in part-ex, or is it likely I'll be mega fleeced taking this approach?
Can anyone tell me the approx trade-in values I should try and expect for the following if traded together:
2001 (Y) Leon Cupra, 38kmiles, silver.
2003 (03) Nissan Primera estate 2.2DCi SE, 80K, gold.
Thanks
We'd like to get the 1.6HDi 110BHP Picasso btw. Any nightmares with this engine?

Yes dealers do take 2 trade-in's on one car but some can be funny about it as they will have 2 cars they need to shift. The Cupra should fetch decent money as they're in good demand although it may be just a touch old to be a retail car for most main dealers. The primera is not a popilar car and you will get hit hard on that one - especially with the mileage.

Trade in values according to Glass's online;
SEAT Leon 20v T Cupra (assuming that is your model?)
1.8 Petrol 5-door Hatchback
6 Speed Manual Front Wheel Drive
Year: 2001 Y
Mileage: 38,000
Excellent condition:
£5900
Average condition:
£5300
Below average condition:
£4620
and
Nissan Primera SE
2.2TD Diesel 5-door Estate
6 Speed Manual Front Wheel Drive
Year: 2003 03
Mileage: 80,000
Excellent condition:
£5040
Average condition:
£4520
Below average condition:

As has already been said, dealers do take more than one car but just be careful that you're getting the right combined value.
