2001 Punto ECU

2001 Punto ECU - dodo
Our 2001 Punto has an ECU problem. Quite common I am told. Can this be repaired anywhere or do we have to buy a new one? If so any advice for the best value? Its a 1.2 Mia (12valve?) by the way. Thanks

I have yet to find anyone that can repair these sucessfully.The unit is about the same size as a Mars bar.Try contacting some of the weber carb specialists for the best value,still about £250 though.

would it be a good idea to get him to replace the coil(s) at the same time elekie&a/c doctor? in case this caused the meltdown
