306 D Turbo Rev counter. - Dan's 306
My rev counter keeps cutting out. I have changed the instrument cluster and this seemed to solve the problem for a while but it has started again.

Any Ideas? where should I look?

Many Thanks
Danny

Check your wiring from the sensor at the flywheel housing at the rear of the engine near the exhaust manifold area. You need get under the car to see it. It could be a bad connection or broken wire along the way. Or it could be a faulty sensor.

i wouldnt worry about it dan concentrate on the driving and you will get to know the revs by the sound of the engine after a while and you will rarely need to look at the rev counter again, especially if you are on the mainland with our crowded roads
