Cavalier SRI 16V engine mgmt warning

Cavalier SRI 16V engine mgmt warning - bk.bas
The engine management warning light comes on when I start the car from cold (and stays on), but if I flick the ignition off/on whilst the engine is running it goes away. This doesn't seem to indicate any of the knock/cam/crank sensors as it always goes away when the ignition is switched off/on, regardless of whether engine is hot or cold! I have had previous Cavaliers that have had problems with this warning, but it has always been down to a particular sensor, and had not gone away until rectified. Car has done 84K and has always been Dealer Serviced

Best thing to do is to read out the fault code. Arm yourself with a paperclip, and follow the instructions here:-
