My girlfriend recently bought a new shape nissan micra... when starting up a blue warning light is on ... it looks like a thermometer in water !... after a few minutes of driving it goes out... does anyone know what it is ?? Unfortunately we don't have the handbook, so any help would really put her mind at rest

Needless to say this is thermostat indicator.
Blue means still cold
Goes out when warm
Probably goes orange/red when hot but not seen it yet.
Surprised not in manual
Where has manual gone
Hope service schedule /service record is not in it!!????
