Yes, that's right folks. Smokie has been given his very own edit button - which is a very rare and a sort after item on this site. More so than a Mondeo TDCi apparantly.
According to his profile he's been a member for quite some time now; drives a Vauxhall (which is a good thing); admits to towing a caravan occasionally (not such a good thing) and as far as I recall has never needed to be moderated by any of us before - which is most unusual.
Although new to moderating here, he's already familiar with the role elsewhere, so it shouldn't take him long to put his new buttons (yes, he gets more than one) to good use.
It'll take a day or so to set him up with an email account and the like, so please be patient before trying to contact him via that method.
Anyway, enough of my inane babble and witty crap repartee, I'm sure you'll all want to pass on your support and good wishes to him.

Just for the record, the caravan was sold on eBay last Sunday for a decent price, and is not scheduled to be replaced :-)
Also for the record, right now I have no additional buttons, as promised. So my browser is booked in with Dynamic Dave for a service over this weekend, after which I am hoping to have the tools of the trade..
Thanks for your good wishes. However it's the contributors who make the Back Room what it is. Moderators only keep the place in some sort of order. So it's you guys who really deserve the thanks...
