hi,could anyone tell me why my wipers on 1998 renault keep stopping in the middle of the screen.will not go back to starting position.i have to push them down manually.even if you turn the ignition of when they are flat they go back to middle of screen. thanx.

Have you owned the car from new? If not, has the recall work been done on it? Take it to a Renault dealer and get them to check; there is a recall note out for some wiper motors/mechanisms due to a known problem. IIRC mine was done circa April 2000
