| Is there a suitable product on the market for removing a scratch from a windscreen or a company specialising in scratch removal. Any advice would be much appreciated. |

                    | It depends how deep the scratches are. Very light scratches can be removed with VERY mild abrasives, but deeper scratches mean you need to remove a lot of glass to get a good finish which will leave a distortion in the glass, so you need to think about the position of the scratches aswell.

                    | Earlier discussions on this subject have lead to suggestion of the use of Jeweller's Rouge which, I understand, is a very very fine grinding paste, almost like talcum powder. Presumably a jeweller could supply it or point you in the direction of a source. A Google search quickly produced suppliers of cloths and polish so give that whirl, I suggest (not expensive) |

                    | I had a friend who swore by Duraglit to remove scrathes in glass.
This is like Brasso but it is in a tin in the form of an impregnated wool type stuff that you just pull very small clumps out and then rub on and polish off with a clean cloth. Does wonders for Brass and maybe glass as well?

                    | hehe...I have my own method - dirt! If I let the car get dirty, the scratch on mine is almost completely not noticeable...at least as unobtrusive as all the heated wires... |
