noisy wipers on my Micra - cliff
I have a 10 year old Micra with noisy (squeaky) wipers. I thought, ok, fit new wipers, result: noisy (squeaky) wipers. It doesn't matter how hard the rain they still squeak! Does anybody know of any sort of product on the market that can help? Or any tips on how to, if not cure, then lesson the problem?
I'll try anything, they're driving me crazy!

I used have micra of similar age it will probably have nothing to do with the wiper's themselves but the bushes on the bottom of the arms which connect them together underneath the wiper tray . Apparently it is quite common problem . I remember when I used to get my car serviced at Nissan main dealer I believe it cost about £80 to fix at the time but that was some years ago . But you maybe able to find good independant who can do it a lot cheaper .

success, it is indeed the bushes. one in particular, i've greased them in the short term but one will need replacing as it's falling to pieces.
