Can anyone advise me on how the front end of my 1999 Audi A6 is removed to access the front of the engine, so I can change the cambelt and tensioner.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Audi don't like to give this information out, which is a pain.
IF it is the same as an A4, the 'lock carrier' can be unbolted and pulled forwards to allow access - all the wiring/pipes/etc. are looped and/or long enough to allow this. Remove the bumper and unbolt the lock carrier, which can be supported by screwing in some studding into a vacant hole on each side.
Look out for electrical bolt-ons, like a temperature sensor, that will need to be removed.
El Dingo.

Someone asked this recently (last couple of weeks) and I did post some details. Perhaps do a search for it?
