A useful tyre calculator - mfarrow
Hi

I just found this really useful link which will calculate tyre radii for you. Makes life easy if you want to work out speedo accuracy via tachometer or vice versa; or if you're thinking of getting bigger wheels.

It will also generate a table comparing tyres of different sizes that you choose, showing the percentage up or down gearing. I used it to change from the standard 205/55-16 tyres to 225/50-16s on my car, with less than one percent change in gearing. It also has a visual comparison of height or width.

The Website doesn't say whether it uses rolling radius data or not. The rolling radius is significantly smaller than the radius with the wheel off the car, and it varies with tyre pressure, axle load and (probably) speed to name but a few factors.
