Not my type of car, but I don't think its laughable.

Oh, how I laughed!!! - Hugo {P}
The upholstry at least looks to have been fairly well done, though you would need to have a look at it in the flesh to make sure.

It doesn't seem to be hanging, unlike a lot of cheaper conversions.

If someone wants something a little unusual it could appeal.

Interestingly the alloys don't do anything for me, though the wife would probably like them!

The wheels are made by Ronal, who do a lot of the VW OEM stuff.

So if you fancy some 14" teddy bears on your Land Cruiser, and can get them to fit :-) then VW part number 601 VW 047 would do it.

I didn't realise you could get them to fit an Escort as I thought the stud pattern was different, but obviously not.

For the record, I laughed out loud when I saw it.

Only 84,000 miles. I quote:

"I'm selling this car as the big end bearings have worn and the engine has become quite noisy to drive (sounds like a diesel)."

But apparantly:

"It is used daily but mainly for motorway driving and has been well looked after and maintained."

Ahem, yeah right!

Or a suitable bit of electronic kit wired up to the ABS light in the car, so that the light comes on for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on. Then the ABS doesn't matter... They don't actually test the ABS in the MOT, so I am told.

At least it comes with a pair of fluffy dice already fitted ... but I'm sure it would have more backroom appeal if the fluffy dice were pink rather than black.

And when the engine finally dies, it could be used a very bling chicken shed, and -- the best bit -- the fluffy dice could be reinstalled in another car.

If I could divert that rather reasonable sum for James May's Guzzi away from what are deemed more essential uses, I'd be tempted if only it would have been the funky Automatic. assuming the usual nifty Guzzi linked braking system, one then wouldn't really need hands at all, except to avoid falling off!

Another Ebay special - Altea Ego
Google reveals that:

1994:
The Order of the Road was relaunched - this is an organisation launched some decades ago whose members promoted safe and courteous driving on the roads.

this is quite amusing

users.arczip.com/zntech1/badge_bars.html

Another Ebay special - Tomo
Quite amusing indeed.

One factor in the display of badges at one time was the facility often offered by various tubular members supporting or bracing wings, headlights, stoneguards and the like for affixing more or less decorative auxiliary lamps, horns and of course badges; up to half a dozen was quite normal and approved by small and not so small boys. As things became more "streamlined" there were fewer convenient tubes and things and the market for badge bars emerged.

Now things are so unaccomodating that I have to stick Toyota Enthusiasts and Lagonda badges inside Toad's windscreen where they can't be seen for the parked wiper. (Toad is automatic, by the way - I made the sacrifice because he has very low mileage.)

As to the Order of the Road on that Range Rover, which member of the family qualified with a 50 year unblemished licence?
