Ford fiesta engine stalls at junction - elie
Hi Guys
My r-reg fiesta with endura e- engine developed a similar problem, it started to stall when approacing junctions (when the clutch is depresed), took it to Ford garage and they replaced HEGO sensor, worked fine for two months but the problem came back so had to take it back, they were unable to find any fault so they recalibrated the engine and updated the software. Brought it back on fiday unfortunately nothing improved the probem is still there so I have to take it back again. It has costed me £275.00 already and funny thing is it all started after I got it MOT'ed. Any suggestions?

When you take it back, ask them have they checked there TSB's and if so is the number on the ECU correct for the ECU that cures this problem.

Hi,
Sounds like your ECU is a bit confused!
Take off the battery for about ten minutes. Connect the battery up again. Start the engine, leave it idiling for about 20 minutes and drive it slowly for about 5 miles. Let me know if this works.
