peugeot 206 - delays????

It's not often I drive my wifes Car. Peugeot 206 51 plate.

But I have noticed that there is a slight delay when you operate the Horn or Headlamp flasher, meaning that when you press the horn its sounds approx. half second later, same for the Headlamp flasher. It is not instance like most cars.

Is this the same for all 206's or is there a fault in the Control unit.

I can't really see it being a fault because it would either work or not work I'm guessing. Maybe you're just used to better quality cars :-)

I had a Peugeot 206, and it did exactly as you describe, delayed horn activation and high beam, so unless mine was faulty as well, it is normal.

It was very irritating, almost as if it was being resistant to my wishes. I think it will be as PhilW says, down to the multiplex wiring. I now have a C3 in its place, and I would assume it also has the multiplex wiring, but it works "normally" without this delaydelay.
