Where can I find the speedo sender for an L reg 16 valve 2 ltr model? Or any other common reason for speedo failure on these

The speedo on this year Mondeo is cable driven off the gearbox.However,the drive to the cable passes thro an electrical speed sensor & it is possible that the plastic drive pin has snapped on this sender ;thus no cable drive.
