This is a random problem, but main beam occasionally stays on after using headlamp flash

Could be a faulty main beam relay sticking on ( I have experienced this) or the switch on the column stalk.

Thanks. I'll get a new relay and see if that cures it.

Before buying a new one, see if there's an identical relay in the fusebox that you can temporarily swap it with. If the problem goes away, then it's the relay, if not then it *could* be the stalk.

If previous Vauxhall stalks are anything to go by, I know where I'd be putting my money!

Thanks for the advice. The relays didn't seem to be fully seated and the problem hasn't recurred in the 2 weeks since.
