Audi 80 gearbox - Peasant
Evening.
Is it possible to fit an A4 gearbox to typ 89 audi 80?
Assuming both engines are 1.8.
Any problems with speedo?

Almost certainly not.

1. 80s use 80/90mm CV joints on the driveshafts, A4s use 100/108/130mm CV or tripodic joints.

2. I know that the length of the gearbox input shaft changed at the end of the 89 production.

3. The gearchange mechanism looks completely different.
