Clio engine cutting out

Clio engine cutting out - Cortos
Hi, I've got a 97(R) Clio 1.2 (old shape) and it's got a nasty habit of cutting out at low speeds when it's warmed-up (but never when cold). The engine sometimes judders before cutting out but other times just dies when I approach lights or park up etc. It (so far!) has restarted almost immediately but it's becoming worrying.

I've read some other threads here about similar (although not identical) problems with Clios cutting out and then not restarting or not starting from cold. I think the replies said this could be a symptom of a faulty engine managment system. Mine is a good starter but it's the cutting out when warm that's the problem. Does this also sound like a management problem or something else?

A friend said he thought he could hear a possible air-leak but I've not had the car checked out professionally yet.

Clio engine cutting out - motorwise
If you can hear an air leak when the engines running then this is the first place to start - look for split vacuum hoses etc
