Tyre Weld - budu
I have had a canister of this get-you-home stuff in my boot for at least five years and have never had to use it. Can anyone say what its shelf life is please?

Most aerosol manufacturers will guarantee the seals and springs in an aerosol can for 2 years, the contents may last a lot longer.
Tyre Weld - Sooty Tailpipes
As long as it's not partially used, an aerosol should last longer than that, but once you get deposits of the contents in the valve, the pressure can seep away over time. The same applied to fire extinguishers.
Tyre Weld - Cymro Arall
Hmmm ... glad you asked: I have a can which must be atleast 15 years old, which I naively carry around just in case. Time to replace...
Tyre Weld - Mikey Jay
I wouldn't use this sort of product. Several motorcyclists have been killed using an aerosol product that has claimed to seal a leak. The tyre has subsequently blown out with catastrophic results. Mikey.
