Saffron Cars are selling UK sourced SL350s and SL500s at below list price. Does anybody know if these are genuine UK cars? I can understand internet brokers being able to source discounts on mass produced cars, but on these? Is there a catch?

There is no longer a premium on these cars.I suspect you could get a discount from a UK Mercedes dealer. I suspect these cars are cancelled orders now that people realise that they cannot buy these cars, run them for a year and still make a profit or at least break even.
Remember LHD SL500s can be found for 45-50,000 pounds.

In fact just seen a 2003 LHD SL350 with 8K miles for 45,000. Good spec. as well.
