pug 405 gltd, i got this funny metal straining sound and squeak from front of the car, the noise only happends when on bumpy, pot holed roads. New roads = no sounds.

Could be anti-roll bar bushes. Spray with WD or something similar should stop for a while. When they go further they begin to rattle
Any MOT station should be able to identify
