Hi
Bought one of these a week ago. Drove it today after the cold snap and the engine management light flashed for a but then became permanently on. Also AC now makes a horrible whining noise, still works I think.

Any ideas, what could be up with it.

I had the same light come on in my 1999 model. Turned out to be the oxygen sensor. Mine was done under warranty (under duress, though), but my local main agent quoted £350 for the part plus £90 for the labour. I didn't get any noises from the AC though.

Agree - could be the oxy sensor. I have heard of this on a few Accords, even at low miles.

Whine when aircon is only is most likely some sort of compressor fault. Really need a pro to check it.
