As anyone got any technical data comparisions for the 320d - 150bhp and the Rover using the BMW unit - 166/131bhp, is it just fuel pump or does it go deeper??
Have seen re chips for 180 bhp for the BMW unit.

DL, I have the 131ps version of the Rover 75 CDT. The car came with this from new so I can\'t do any meaningful back-to-back comparisons with the standard 115ps version. As well as more power, the 131 chip is said to give notable extra torque with maximum torque at a lower speed and slightly improved overall economy. Do you know of any disadvantages? I\'m sure there must be some!

There are NO disadvantages, to the contrary, I would say the engine would become more durable as it is less stressed (hammered to gain adequate performance from, say, a standard Rover 75 117PS CDT)

If you want more grunt try the tunit v-cr, this will give around 145bhp?? - I have!!
