Laguna II \"renault card\" Coding - Anthony Eeles
I\'ve got a Laguna II for which I have obtained a spare key card. I just need to \'learn\' the keycard to my car\'s security system, which presumably you can do through coding it somehow.

All the renault dealers seem to be wanting to charge me for an hours labour at 30-50 quid, which given my company mitsubishi carisma can have it\'s key fob taught by me in seconds seems a bit expensive, given the card\'s already cost me £90

Is this something i can do myself as per other manafacture\'s key-fobs?

Because the model is not yet 3 yrs old the manufactures have total rights.
I'm after wiring loom data - but are unable to source. The information should be release in October this year - not much use to you I know!! - then third parties can access data

The original poster would still need to have a laptop and obd11 cable/software to program additionl cards into the system. That info is known now ( seen instructions somewhere on the web to change alarm paramaters thro the obd11 plug)
