New Shogun? - tpac

I am hopefully about to do a deal with my local Mitsubishi dealer on a new shape shogun, I have now had 3 shoguns all of which have been excellent and very reliable. The new model is a 2000 Y reg new shape 3.2 diesel with 52k on the clock, 1 owner. Can anyone answer the following questions?

1)What is triptronic automatic gears?
2)Is that a fair price?
3)Anyone ANY knowledge on these new shape ones?
4)My 98 model is a 2.8 Diesel, what should I expect from this new 3.2 Diesel one?

New Shogun? - GTLK

Isn't the new 3.2 diesel the one with Direct Injection. This should make it more powerful, responsive and economical than the previous model.

Turbo-diesels and automatics work very well together, so you should be very happy.
