Tappets? - nixontim
Someone has suggested that my tappets in my Ford Orion need replacing? Is this an expensive process if taken into a garage?

You don't state which engine it is but I guess CVH with hydraulic tappets. The parts will cost a fair bit but what makes you think they need replacement? Rattle at start up is fairly normal. Might be improved with oil change and use of correct oil.

get engine red hot then add a good engine flush, read instructions on bottle, should do the trick
